For those of you that don’t know porter mountain is one of the high peaks. Its one of the smaller ones and is a relatively easy climb to the top. This weekend lisa and I climbed porter mountain. We camped near the trail so that we could spend most of the day hiking.
It was a nice hike with lots of people. Most people seemed to be going up to cascade though so once we hit the fork it was pretty quiet. Most of the trail up, all you can see is woods but when you get to the top the view makes it worth while. It was a gorgeous day and you could see clear for miles.
