My name is Matt Olsen but other than that its difficult to say who I am. I could go on and spout a bunch of random facts to you. Such as: I graduated with a BS from University at Albany, I’m an ethical vegan, I’m a bit of a movie freak, etc. This just doesn’t seem to cut it though. All this does is give you a snapshot of the “stuff” that surrounds me. Really what makes us, “us”, is much harder to describe.
I suppose, I try to come to my own conclusions. I do my best to sort out all the crap that is thrown at us through the box in our living room and the puppets at the pulpit, as well as every other method of cognizant sabotage that I can identify. The fact is though that try as I may, I often fail at this. I believe what makes me different than the average person is that I am on a continuous quest to question the world around me, including my own views. Sometimes this proves terribly inconvenient, but such is life.
I know, I’m being about as vague as a politician but, I’m sure that if you look through the rest of these pages you can find some more information to wet your appetite. Keep in mind that I reserve the right to change my mind… well, whenever I damn well feel like it.
